The Den Site

Serenity smiled warmly at Storm's generosity. "Thank you, Storm." She nipped the carcass and then her attention drew towards Akai and Sye's conversation. Serenity smiled once she saw that they were doing well. She looked back at Storm, "You can eat whenever you wish without approval." She told her and grinned. Serenity then stood up and sniffed the air, figuring out where the other members are located. She pinned down the location and headed towards Steady Lake.

Storm gave a warm but quick smile back and ate as always just enough to fill her. Once finishing the first calf she heads back to the Benevolence pond for some rest to refill her energy....

Mikol walked in to where the den was. He looked around the area and flicked his ears to the sounds of the other wolves. He looked over to the meal that Serenity had told them was there for the pack to munch on. He walked over to it and ripped off a piece and ate it without hesitation. He tore off another piece and then took it over to a small patch of dirt where he then laid down on and chewed on the piece of meat, enjoying it flavour.

Akai continued writing onto the bark, making details on Sye to record him into the packs history. When she finnished, Akai got up to go wash the red berry stain from her paws.


-To Steady Lake

Storm arrives still in a pretty bad mood thanks to the bird that attacked her. The large female comes around the corner growling under her breath that bird will get it someday. She shook her head left to right as she sits down looking at where the pack had eaten the calf carcasses, she smiles knowing that they enjoyed the hard earned meal... Storm stretches and yawns as she lays down on the dirt just outside the den, not really noticing anything different...

Serenity was about to enter the den, but she hesitated at the last moment. She glanced back at the new female and thought about greeting her. It seems that her and Mikol were friends, so that makes things better. She sighed and decided to wait a short while before talking with her, giving her some time to get used to the pack. Serenity stepped forward and entered the hollow den.

Storm flicks open a eye lid and start laughing quietly at what the elder is doing, trying to keep her smile from showing, a short second long burst out of laughter came out, then she stopped. Trying to keep her laughter contained, the large female trots inside the den and sits in a corner, with a giggle or two she was asleep... hardly....

Mikol had finished his meal by now and licked his mouth clean. He twitched his nose, catching the scents nearby. He blinked a few times and perked his ears forward. He looked over to Nesoi who was resting near him. He had the intension to pounce her and play some tag, however he let her rest. Mikol looked at the other wolves and stood up on his haunches and stretched out and yawned. He looked around to the others and caught their scents.

Serenity walked out of the den with semi-sleepy eyes. She blinked a few times, then yawned silently. Her eyes narrowed as she became more awake, and they scanned her surroundings. She smiled at the sight of her pack and then lifted her muzzle slightly, catching the faint scent of a stranger. "Hmm, who could this be?" she thought to herself.

Storm flicks her eyes open and sees Serenity standing a few feet away. She yawns baring her huge, sharp, blood stained canines as she stretches. What's wrong? She asks tilting her head and flicking her tail. Now wide awake, the large female looks into the distance a bit confused, then she looks back. Storm takes a quick sniff but her morning sniffles were blocking her nose making it harder to smell...

Serenity stood up from her sitting position as the figure of a wolf appeared from the shadows. She watched, waiting to see what he will do next.

Nesoi followed the rabbit for about fifteen minutes. Then, when she was about to strike, the darn thing went into a hole. She mumbled and got angry with herself, but knew there would be other chances.

'Time to go make some new friends I guess.' she thought to herself. The female slowly turned around and headed back to the den site. She saw the white wolf, whose name she still didn't know, standing outside of the den. Nesoi sat down when she got closer to the den and sighed. She wanted to go introduce herself, but if things don't hit it off right, especially with female wolves, things will get intense and she will go off.

Nesoi had to make the first move. She went over to the white wolf and said her first words to a different wolf besides Mikol. "Hello, I'm Nesoi. Who might you be?" she said. The female took a step back.Obviously she was in a higher authority, because of the way she stood and acted.

She blinked a few times as she heard a voice. Serenity turned and saw the new female who she had seen by the lake earlier. Her face was blank at first, but then a gentle smile appeared. "Hello Nesoi, I am Serenity. It is a pleasure to finally meet you." She said, with a hint of laughter hidden in the tone of her voice.

Kapu perked his ears and nodded respectfully to the wolf who he assumed was the alpha. "Hi...Im Kapu," He said in greeting and then noticed another wolf come up and introduce themselves. He shook his head and took a step back before sitting down though he glanced around uneasily. He suddenly relaxed though as he realized the alpha was not aggressive and he stared at her for a moment, trying to rember her name and face. Finally he nodded and looked away.

Nesoi smiled. She doesn't usually show that type of reaction with female wolves. Nesoi nodded. "Nice to meet you as well." she responded. This would be great if Serenity kept this personality up. Nesoi doesn't feel like getting in a fight with someone today, especially the alpha.

Nesoi stepped back and gave her space. She lied down outside of the den and took in a deep breath. She was at ease now for being brave and talking to someone new.

Kapu grinned back at the wolf who called herself Nesoi. "Nice to meat you Nesoi," he said formally and watched as she lid down. He turned to the alpha, "You to Serinity," he woofed.

Her head peaks around Serenity's head seeing more wolves, she then walks around back of the new ones with her ear twitching and her tail flicking, almost studying the wolves. I'm Storm the rather large female says with a slight bit of growl in her voice. Her eyes narrow slightly, then her ear twitches at rustling in the trees... Storm starts to growl...
